The Cameroon-born 37-year-old was expected to win this fight and pocket a cool $10 million.

But is Ngannou ready to take on Fury? Read on to find out.

What to Expect
The lineal heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, is aiming to become the first ever undisputed heavyweight champion. To do so, he will need to defeat WBA, IBF and WBO champion Oleksandr Usyk in December. However, before that fight can take place, Fury must first take out an opponent with a reputation for massive power in Francis Ngannou.

The match was billed as a battle of the biggest punchers in the division. And, in the early going that is certainly how the fight played out. Ngannou is a former UFC heavyweight champion who is a powerful striker. But, he is also a disciplined boxer who changes stances often and keeps his punches from trending wildly like they do in many mixed martial arts matches. He surprised Fury with his skill and finesse in the boxing ring and nearly pulled off an upset in his professional debut.

Ngannou started the fight by stalking Fury and landing a pair of solid left hooks. Then, he threw a right hand into the body and followed it up with a left cross. Fury retaliated with some solid jabs and an occasional uppercut. But, Ngannou was able to maneuver his way into the clinch where he used his strength to dominate Fury.

Round Two: Ngannou lands a couple of hard straight right hands in the first minute of the round. Then, he lands another right hand to the body. Fury is able to land a short right hand of his own and a few more jabs before the round ends.

Fury was a little more active in the third round, but his attempts to make a quick stoppage of Ngannou went for naught. The MMA-style boxing continued in the fourth round as Fury tried to get inside of Ngannou and throw a few punches up top. Ngannou was waiting for those punches and he would counter with thudding counter-punches of his own. Round five saw Ngannou regaining his composure and taking control of the fight.

Round-by-Round Analysis
As a fight between two elite athletes from completely different worlds, Fury vs Ngannou had a lot of hype behind it. But after a brutal first round, it looked like Ngannou had taken control.

The Cameroonian started the round by landing a left hook to the body. After that, he moves inside and lands a hard right hand on the head. He then clinches again and lands a few more big shots.

Ngannou is a huge heavyweight with a devastating knockout power. He has a long list of professional wins in both MMA and boxing, and is currently the number one contender in the UFC heavyweight division.

However, this fight is Fury’s first time in a professional boxing ring and he seems to have struggled to adjust to the style of his opponent.

Fury is trying to box on his toes and is feinting, baiting and throwing his jab. But Ngannou isn’t allowing him to get a rhythm going, and he’s only getting off a couple of good punches.

In the final minute, Fury goes for a big right uppercut but misses. Ngannou looks tired and is missing more often now.

Ngannou tries to take advantage but Fury is still in control. He gets a decent left hook in and is able to land another good jab to close the round. In the final seconds, Ngannou tries to lunge in with a Superman punch but Fury easily evades it. That’s it for the round!

Round-by-Round Reactions
From NBA stars to UFC champions, the world of combat sports and beyond reacted to Ngannou’s stunning knockout in Fury’s boxing debut. The Cameroonian stunned the gathered crowd in the Saudi capital with a right hand that sent “The Gypsy King” to the canvas and left the Briton with an expression of shock.

It was a massive moment for Ngannou and a major wake-up call for Fury, who had spent much of the buildup to the fight joking about his lack of boxing skills. Ngannou’s knockout was the first punch he had landed in the entire contest and it came just when Fury looked to be starting to find his groove.

The reversal was not enough to derail Ngannou’s momentum, however, as the Briton began to turn up the heat and find his range. Ngannou pressed forward with a ferocity that few expected and he landed several hard body shots to the stomach of Fury. It was enough to give the former MMA champion a narrow split decision win, which came as a huge surprise to many in attendance and the wider combat sports community.

As Ngannou walked to the ring for his post-fight press conference, the gathered media was full of praise for the former UFC superstar. The British fighter, who entered the fight as the WBA’s lineal heavyweight champion, was given a warm welcome by fans and adulation from those in the arena. Fury’s swagger was not dampened by the loss, and he looked set to continue his assault on the top of the division.

Ngannou’s victory was not without controversy, however, with two judges scoring the fight in favor of Fury and one announcing his score as a split decision. A rematch between the two will not be sanctioned by the WBC as the Briton has signed a deal to face Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight championship on December 23 in Riyadh.

Ngannou’s win over Fury was the first major crossover fight to be held in Saudi Arabia, and it was a massive event for the sport. The pair’s clash was a spectacle filled with plenty of fireworks, from the extravagant entrance to the lavish opening ceremony that saw Ngannou arrive in a golden throne while wearing a crown and robe as he was escorted to the ring by Kamaru Usman and Israel Adesanya.

Final Words
The ‘Battle of the Baddest’ is over, and Francis Ngannou has proved his detractors wrong with an astounding performance. It was a masterful showing from the man who left squalor in Cameroon, spent time in prison, and then homeless on the streets of Paris to make his way to the top of mixed martial arts, and now boxing.

He may have only won on one of the official scorecards, but Ngannou was a cut above Fury from start to finish and was arguably the best heavyweight boxer in years. The fight was not the blockbuster many had expected, but it was a nip-and-tuck affair in which Ngannou used his boxing skills to win over an audience who never thought they’d see such a thing.

In the end, a stunning left from Ngannou sent Fury tumbling to the canvas and was followed by a stunned silence. The crowd will be longing for a rematch with the man who made them forget about the heavyweight division’s ‘lack of drama’.

Fury has a nick on his forehead and seems gassed. A hard left from Ngannou catches him on the temple and sends him to the canvas! The count is called, but Fury beats it!

The round is almost over and it’s clear that Ngannou is starting to pull away. He lands a hard right hand in the clinch and then another hard left up top. Fury lands a jab as they brawl, but Ngannou is taking control.

Round 10
Ngannou looks in full control now. He’s using his speed to get inside and catching Fury with a series of hard punches. Fury tries to rally and catches Ngannou with a sweeping left, but the Cameroon fighter is not done yet. He lands a hard left on the inside, which is a big blow for the Brit, who is trying to avoid Ngannou’s shots. Ngannou lands a couple of glancing body shots as the round closes and seems to be picking up steam. A very close round and it could go either way!

UFC 294 results https://gameavenue.co/ufc-294-results/ Sun, 22 Oct 2023 10:48:04 +0000 https://ww1.gameavenue.co/?p=11500 IsMakhachev landed a perfect head kick to put the featherweight champion out cold and hold on to his lightweight title
In February, Islam Makhachev barely held on to his UFC lightweight championship when he was pushed to the brink and hurt late by featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski. The pair rematched in the main event of Saturday’s UFC 294, and Makhachev made a big statement with a first-round knockout win to retain his title.

Volkanovski was stepping in on late notice after Makhachev’s original opponent, Charles Oliveira, was forced out of the bout due to injury. Taking the fight on less than 10 days’ notice was a big risk by Volkanovski to get a fight he’d wanted since Makhachev had his hand raised in their first meeting.

The two men battled in the clinch for much of the fight, with Makhachev seeming much more effective than the first fight. Makhachev was able to muscle Volkanovski around and land some good strikes, including knees to Volkanovski’s head that drew blood early.

After they separated from the clinch, Makhachev landed a big head kick and a flurry of punches on the ground to force the stoppage at the 3:06 mark of the opening round.

“I showed him first of all low kicks and body kicks and changed to high kick,” Makhachev said of the finish. “This is our whole plan we trained. This guy is a real champion. He’s going to fight all five rounds, he never gives up. He’s a real champion. Thank you, Alex.”

Makhachev made it clear that he does not pick opponents and had no plans to call for his next challenger, instead telling UFC president Dana White and the matchmakers to “give me someone.” He won the title with a submission of Oliveira in October 2022.

Volkanovski was disappointed in the way the fight played out but made it clear he wanted to fight again as soon as the cuts on his face healed, claiming that sitting at home and not fighting is hard on him mentally.

“Obviously, a great setup and good kick,” Volkanovski said. “Obviously, it’s hard. I don’t like losing. It hurts me. He’s a great champion. I back myself every time, always back yourself. … I just want to say to the UFC, please keep me busy. I don’t do well when I’m not fighting. I had to take this fight because not fighting was doing my head in.”

Volkanovski is likely to face Ilia Topuria in his next featherweight title defense.

Elsewhere on the card, Khamzat Chimaev appears to have stamped his ticket to a middleweight title shot with a majority decision over former welterweight king Kamaru Usman. Chimaev sprinted out of the gates with his power wrestling and nearly locked in a rear naked choke before Usman was able to shake him off his back briefly. Usman did rally in the second round and appeared to do well in the striking game, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the 10-8 scorecards for the opening frame.

In one of the weirder fights of Saturday, Magomed Ankalaev and Johnny Walker ended in a no contest after Ankalaev landed an illegal knee while Walker was grounded in the first round. The knee caught Walker flush on the chin, but he did not seem to react. The action was stopped for the ringside doctor to give Walker a concussion test, after which he advise the referee that he could not continue. However, Walker pushed forward, shoved the ref and tried to make his way to Ankalaev for action to continue. Security and even UFC president Dana White entered the Octagon to get things under control, but it was a disappointing ending for a fight that was just picking up steam.

CBS Sports was with you the entire way on Saturday bringing you all the results and highlights from the UFC 294 below.

UFC 294 Predictions and Preview https://gameavenue.co/ufc-294-predictions-and-preview/ Sun, 22 Oct 2023 10:44:29 +0000 https://ww1.gameavenue.co/?p=11497 After all of the craziness in the buildup to UFC 294, we’re finally here.

UFC featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski is looking to put his name along with the likes of Conor McGregor, Amanda Nunes, Daniel Cormier, and Henry Cejudo as a simultaneous two-division UFC champion. To do so, he’ll need to solve the puzzle of reigning UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev in a short-notice title fight.

Speaking of short notice, former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman has filled in for an injured Paulo Costa to take on the surging Khamzat Chimaev. This is a middleweight bout with high stakes. The winner will receive a shot at Sean Strickland’s UFC Middleweight Championship.

Magomed Ankalaev vs. Johnny Walker, Ikram Aliskerov vs. Warlley Alves, and Said Nurmagomedov vs. Muin Gafurov will also be featured on the PPV card. With fight night approaching, it’s time to get to our UFC 294 predictions.

Let’s roll:

Fernando Quiles Jr: Volkanovski has proven he can hold his own against Makhachev with their UFC 284 clash back in February. Volkanovski gained steam down the stretch, but I agree with the judges that it was too little, too late. Despite this being a short-notice fight, I see Makhachev making the necessary adjustments to ensure Volk doesn’t find that late burst again. Could I be wrong? I certainly have been in the past, but I feel Makhachev is just a tad bit ahead. (Pick: Makhachev)

Mathew Riddle: I’m pulling for Volk but I don’t think his hubris does him any favors. He was running away with their first fight at the end, but in terms of the adjustments needed by both fighters, I believe Islam needs to make the least. Volk fights on a razor’s edge, but Islam was only in danger in the dying moments of round 5. If Islam has made the necessary adjustments to his cardio and grappling, I can see him winning. (Pick: Makhachev)

Drew Beaupré: I definitely wanted to see how Charles Oliveira would do in a second fight with Makhachev, but like a lot of people I’m more interested in this rematch given how competitive their first meeting was. The short-notice nature of the bout adds some extra drama even if it isn’t an ideal scenario, and Volkanovski has likely at least had this opportunity in mind during his last few months of training. The odds are certainly against him, but I’ll take “The Great” to pull off what would be one of the most incredible victories in the history of the sport. (Pick: Volkanovski)

Zain Bando: I understand the reasoning behind picking Makhachev due to the home-field advantage, but Volkanovski’s uber-confidence leads me to believe the fight will go a little differently this time. Volkanovski will use his wrestling to neutralize Makhachev and earn a late finish or decision victory. I think Makhachev could be looking past him, too. Give me the upset! (Pick: Volkanovski)

Fernando Quiles Jr: This is the biggest test of Chimaev’s career by far. “Borz” has looked dominant with the exception of the Gilbert Burns fight. Even in that bout, he proved he has the grit to last inside the Octagon. Usman is obviously a world-class welterweight, but is he still elite following back-to-back losses to Leon Edwards? He was dominant against Edwards in their rematch before suffering the head kick KO. Then in the trilogy, Edwards was slightly a step ahead and took the majority decision. I think I’ll take the fresher Khamzat Chimaev here, but this is a great opportunity for Usman to have his, “Y’all must’ve forgot” moment. (Pick: Chimaev)

Mathew Riddle: You’re only as good as your last fight, and Usman didn’t look so hot against Edwards. He was slow, lumbering, overreached and had no explosivity. Khamzat is going to be quick, snappy, powerful and relentless, at least in those early rounds. A lot of people are drawing comparisons between their fights with Gilbert Burns, but I put this down to Chimaev resting on his laurels. He won’t make that mistake again. (Pick: Chimaev)

Drew Beaupré: As with the main event, this matchup looks to be a more interesting one on paper than the originally scheduled bout between Chimaev and Paulo Costa. It’s also very much a fight where I’d have preferred to see Usman put in a full camp before making his middleweight debut, especially considering the caliber of opponent he’s facing. It’s going to be very interesting to see how the grappling exchanges play out, but I have to take Chimaev to add to his unbeaten record and hand Usman his third loss in a row. (Pick: Chimaev)

Zain Bando: Usman hasn’t been the same fighter since losing his title to Leon Edwards last August. Chimaev seems to be on a different level with huge wins against Kevin Holland and Gilbert Burns. Chimaev is the biggest threat to the middleweight title with Israel Adesanya sharing his need for taking time off. Usman just got the call last week. Chimaev has been in Abu Dhabi for over a month, and he’ll finish Usman inside two rounds. (Pick: Chimaev)

Fernando Quiles Jr: After going 1-4 in five fights, Walker has rebounded nicely with three wins in a row. While there is something to be said about momentum, I think Walker’s streak ends against Ankalaev. A good mix of striking and takedowns will be the strategy for Ankalaev, I believe. I see him frustrating Walker and earning a win to get back in the UFC light heavyweight title picture. (Pick: Ankalaev)

Mathew Riddle: Ankalaev struggled too much with Blachowicz to discredit Walker in this matchup. The Russian fighter had a very hard time with some rudimentary striking techniques, and showed no urgency or adjustments over five rounds. I feel that Walker could pull off an upset just by being the more athletic and merciless fighter. It’s also a safe observation to say Walker’s leg kicks could be a problem for Ankalaev in this fight. I’m going with the underdog for the upset. (Pick: Walker)

Drew Beaupré: Of the three higher-profile fights atop this card, this one feels like it’s the most likely to have something strange happen. That could just be because of how things have trended in the light heavyweight division as of late, but it’s also probably due to the clear clash of styles at play. I’m tempted to say that Walker is going to pull off the upset by landing something wild, but I’ll pick Ankalaev to get things to the mat and soundly out grapple the Brazilian. (Pick: Ankalaev)

Zain Bando: The pent up anger and frustration since his draw last December will only add fuel to the fire for Ankalaev. I think he goes out and makes a major statement against Walker and wins by KO/TKO in Round 1. I worry the travel will also negatively impact Walker coming from Brazil. (Pick: Ankalaev)

Fernando Quiles Jr: Aliskerov has been on quite a journey to his next UFC fight, which is unusual for someone who scored a sensational one-punch knockout in their last fight. Aliskerov saw planned fights with Paulo Costa and Nassourdine Imavov fall through. The good news for him is that he’s only had to wait five months to return to action. His opponent, Alves, has a solid ground game, but I don’t think Aliskerov will be fazed with his strong defense. I agree with the oddsmakers here, Aliskerov gets it done. (Pick: Aliskerov)

Mathew Riddle: (Pick: Alves)

Drew Beaupré: This is a tough matchup for Alves to try and snap a two-fight skid, but I also feel for Aliskerov a bit considering he missed out on a chance to jump into the middleweight rankings against Nassourdine Imavov. I expect Aliskerov to get the job done here and likely end things inside the distance, although if he gets overconfident Alves is more than capable of landing a big shot or snatching a surprise submission. (Pick: Aliskerov)

Zain Bando: This is a set-up fight for Ikram Aliskerov to boost his reputation in the UAE region. He’s simply better everywhere. (Pick: Aliskerov)

Fernando Quiles Jr: On paper, this is a great fight to get things started on the UFC 294 main card. Neither fighter has been finished in their pro MMA careers. I expect some fun moments in the standup, but ultimately, I see the speed advantage of Nurmagomedov being enough to get him a decision victory. (Pick: Nurmagomedov)

Mathew Riddle: Gafurov had an action-packed three round affair with Castaneda earlier this year. It was a competitive fight, but Castaneda currently isn’t on the same level as Nurmagomedov – a fringe top-15 contender. Gafurov’s all-out style was enabled by Castaneda’s willingness to stand and trade, but I believe Nurmagomedov will pick him apart at range. (Pick: Nurmagomedov)

Drew Beaupré: This is a great matchup that probably would be getting a bit more attention if there weren’t so many huge names scheduled for later on the event’s main card. Nurmagomedov had an impressive four-fight win streak snapped by Jonathan Martinez in March, and although he’ll need to be careful not to get clipped by any big shots from Gafurov I’ll take the Russian to either win a decision or look for a chance to grab one of his favored guillotine chokes. (Pick: Nurmagomedov)

Zain Bando: Never pick against anyone with the Nurmagomedov last name. The pipeline will continue on Saturday. (Pick: Nurmagomedov)

The Wimbledon Open Tennis Tournament https://gameavenue.co/the-wimbledon-open-tennis-tournament/ Mon, 10 Jul 2023 15:46:22 +0000 https://ww1.gameavenue.co/?p=9613 Wimbledon is the oldest of the four Grand Slam tournaments. It is a high-profile event in southwestern London. It features players dressed in all-white attire. It has a long tradition of playing on grass and has strict rules regarding clothing.

The 2023 tournament is in full swing, and bad weather hasn’t stopped the action at Worple Road. Novak Djokovic is defending his gentlemen’s singles title, while Elena Rybakina is looking for her first grand slam win of the season.

History

The Wimbledon Open Tennis tournament was first held in 1877. Originally, the event was known as the Gentlemen’s Singles Championship. It was not until 36 years later that Ladies Singles and Doubles events were added to the competition. Today, the Wimbledon Championships features four junior and four invitation competitions alongside five main contests – Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Ladies’ Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.

The men’s and women’s championships take place over two weeks each, culminating in early July. The tournament is the third of the Grand Slam events, after the Australian and French Opens. It is a grass court event and takes place at the All England Club in Wimbledon, England.

In the 19th century, players wore full-length white dresses and hats for the matches. The accepted attire changed in the 1920s and 1930s, when short skirts, sleeveless tops, and other more daring looks were introduced. Tennis fans also began to wear more colorful outfits for the matches.

By the middle of the 20th century, international players started to win the tournament. In 1905, USA player May Sutton became the first foreign champion to grab a trophy at Wimbledon. Then, British players took over in the 1930s and 1940s. Dorothy Round, Kitty McKane, Godfree, and Angela Mortimer all won Wimbledon titles during this period.

Navratilova won nine Wimbledon singles championships, the most in the Open Era. She also won eight Wimbledon doubles titles, including with her sister, Serena. Steffi Graff is the second-most successful female Wimbledon player, with seven titles.

In addition to the trophies, each winner receives a set of silverware and a cash prize. The amount of money has increased over the years. In 2007 the gap between pay for men and women at the Championships closed, with each winning the same amount of money. This change made Wimbledon the last of the four Grand Slam tournaments to offer equal pay for both men and women. The following year, Wimbledon introduced a retractable roof over Centre Court. The roof is opened and closed at the start of and end of each match.

Format

Wimbledon is the oldest of the four Grand Slam tournaments and is unique in that it is the only one played on grass. The tournament is a knockout format that culminates in the final weekend. It is held at the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club in South London. The players and spectators dress in white, and the venue is one of the most famous in all of sports.

The first Wimbledon match was held on the grass lawns that had originally been designed for croquet in 1877. Since then, the event has expanded to include men’s and women’s singles and doubles championships as well as wheelchair singles and doubles matches. In addition to these major events, the tournament also features an extensive range of exhibition games and other competitions.

Until 1968, the tournament was open only to amateur tennis players. However, in that year the rules were changed to allow professional players to compete. Since then, the tournament has grown in popularity and prestige. It has become the most popular of the four Grand Slams, and it is regarded as the most important tournament in tennis.

It is also unique in that it is the only one of the four Grand Slams to be held on grass courts, which are known for being fast and require a high level of athleticism. The other three Grand Slams, the US Open, Australian Open, and French Open are played on hard courts.

Historically, the tournament has used a best-of-five format for all championships. In 2009, the All England Club decided to switch to a best-of-three format, citing that it would be more equitable for both players and fans. In addition, it would help players avoid unnecessary taxation on their physical health. The switch has been a success, with fans and players alike enjoying the shorter sets.

A new rule change at Wimbledon in 2022 allows players to play a 10-point tiebreak in the final set of a match. This is a controversial change, as some players believe it will shorten the game and make it less exciting.

Prize money

The players at Wimbledon aren’t just battling for the title, they also want to win a big payday. This year’s tournament will be a record-setting one in terms of prize money. The All England Club is offering a total of $50.5 million in player compensation. This is an increase of 11.1% over 2021 and a 5.4% increase over 2019, which was the last time the event ran due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The amount of prize money a player receives depends on how far they advance in the tournament. For example, a player who makes it all the way to the semi-finals will earn about $1.6 million. Those who make it to the quarter-finals will get about $380,000. And the runners-up will walk away with a little over $2 million.

In addition to the cash prizes, players also get a certain number of ranking points. For example, a man or woman who wins the men’s or women’s singles will get 2,000 ranking points. Those who make it to the final will get even more.

Aside from the prize money, the champions of Wimbledon will receive a beautiful trophy. The winner of the men’s singles will get the Gentlemen’s Singles Trophy, which is a silver cup that has been awarded since 1887. The winner of the women’s singles will receive the Rosewater Dish, a silver salver that was first presented in 1904.

This year’s tournament will feature a full roster of top-ranked players. Novak Djokovic will try to reclaim the men’s title, while Roger Federer will try to equal his eight Wimbledon titles. The women’s field features a bevy of young stars, including the likes of Elena Rybakina and Simona Halep.

The gap between the pay for men and women at tennis has been closing rapidly, but it was only until 2007 that Wimbledon began to offer equal payouts for men and women. That was later followed by the other three grand slam events. Here’s a look at the Wimbledon prize structure per round.

Venues

The Wimbledon Championship, or simply Wimbledon, is one of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments. It is held in the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Wimbledon Common in London each year, starting towards the end of June and ending in early July. The tournament is the oldest and most prestigious of the four, as well as being the only one that is played on grass courts.

It was originally called the Gentlemen’s Singles Championship, and the first championship was played in 1877. It was not until 1884 that women were allowed to compete, and then only after the championship had become a Grand Slam event.

In the modern day, Wimbledon has become famous for the strict rules that govern the tournament. For example, players must wear all-white attire, which gives the tournament a distinct and classy feel. There are also a number of longstanding traditions and manners that have been passed down from generation to generation. It is no wonder that Wimbledon has been able to maintain its reputation as the world’s most prestigious tournament.

For instance, players must bow to the Queen and Prince of Wales when they enter the grounds, and spectators must remain quiet throughout matches. It is not uncommon to see fans holding up signs reading “please silence mobile phones” or “silence applause”. In addition, the All England Club has a team of volunteers to clean and maintain the grounds. There is even a trained hawk named Rufus to keep away any other birds that may interfere with the games.

If you’re interested in attending the tournament, you can buy tickets through the ballot or purchase debentures. Debentures are five-year season passes that guarantee seats on Centre Court and No 1 Court for each match, and access to exclusive lounges and restaurants. You can also rent rooms nearby, but they tend to book up quickly.

Many famous celebrities attend the tournament. In the past, this has included musicians and actors, as well as members of the British royal family. This is due to the fact that the All England Club has a special Royal Box for guests to enjoy the matches from a more privileged vantage point.

Villa has been impressive since his debut in 2022, and his recent win over Rashidi Ellis gives him plenty of confidence heading into this matchup.

Ennis will need to keep Villa on his back foot and avoid taking unprotected shots. Otherwise, he will be in trouble.

Interim IBF welterweight champion Jaron “Boots” Ennis (30-0, 27 KOs) will defend his title against hard-hitting Roiman Villa (26-1, 24 KOs) on Saturday night at The Ballroom in Atlantic City.

Ennis is one of Philadelphia’s brightest prospects, and has quickly become a force to be reckoned with in the division. He is a talented boxer with a unique combination of technical prowess and innate power.

The Venezuelan boxer recently spoke about his future plans, and his thoughts on current three-division world champion Vasiliy Lomachenko.

Toledo native Jared Anderson (14-0, 14 KOs) is back in action on Saturday, returning to his hometown to take on former heavyweight champion Charles Martin (29-3-1, 26 KOs) at the Huntington Center in Toledo. This is the first time that the Top Rank fighter will fight outside of his home state.

The bout will be televised live on SHOWTIME. Also on the card will be talented lightweight Antonio Pauldo (15-1, 7 KOs) taking on veteran journeyman Fredy Guerrero (18-7, 16 KOs). The 10-round bout will be for the WBA regional super featherweight championship. The bout will air on the same card as a televised bout featuring undefeated IBF super bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue against WBA and WBC super-bantamweight champion Ral Amaru. The card will be streamed online by DAZN. It will be available in the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland. You can watch it by logging on to DAZN’s website or downloading the DAZN app.

Ennis is a slugger

Villa was a slugger who had one big win this year when he upset the previously undefeated Rashidi Ellis. However, he has not proven to be the type of fighter that can take advantage of a brash and aggressive challenger like Boots Ennis.

Ennis was sharper than he’d been in the previous two fights, and he used the jab to set up his lethal power punches. He had Villa hurt for the first time in round six, but the 30-year-old fought on, showing off his tremendous fortitude and a solid chin.

But Ennis continued to hammer away in rounds seven and eight, sending blood flying from Villa’s face with numerous snapping shots. Despite receiving long looks from the ringside doctor after those rounds, Villa soldiered forward in hopes of changing the tide. He would not get the chance as Ennis closed the fight in style early in round 10, landing a vicious one-two that sent Villa tumbling to the mat and referee David Fields stopped the fight 1:27 into the round.

Although Villa has a good chin, he hasn’t shown the kind of skills that make him more than just another slugger. He has a tendency to engage at close range, which makes him susceptible to being caught by a volley of shots. In addition, his lack of footwork makes it easier for Ennis to move in and put him on the back foot.

While Villa wishes to be considered among the big boys in the welterweight division, he knows that he’s going to have to fight some much better opponents if he wants to be taken seriously. He will definitely be watching the upcoming Terence Crawford-Errol Spence Jr bout, and is eager to step up his level of competition.

Villa is a power puncher

The Venezuelan Villa is a powerful puncher who will look to end the fight with one or two well-placed blows. However, he can also be too reliant on his power. This will likely cause him problems against a boxer who can move around the ring and avoid his hooks. Against Ellis, Villa will likely have to fight off some early adversity, but he’ll make the most of his opportunities when they come.

Villa’s last fight was a surprisingly entertaining affair. He fought the tough Karen Chukhadzhian to a majority decision win. In the fight, Villa showed he could take a lot of punishment and even landed some eye-catching shots. However, he did not look very good outside of the clinch where his strength and power were on display.

He will face a much more dangerous opponent in Rashidi Ellis, who is undefeated but hasn’t faced any top opponents. Villa will have to improve his defensive skills if he wants to have any chance of winning this fight.

Ellis is a talented boxer who can use his speed and elusiveness to frustrate Villa. He will likely put Villa in trouble with his jab and move into range to land his devastating power punches. In addition, Ellis will likely be able to catch Villa when he is too reliant on his power.

Ennis is a better boxer

When Jaron Ennis successfully defended his interim IBF welterweight title against Roiman Villa in Atlantic City last month, he sent a message to the division’s elite. He wants a shot at the winner of Errol Spence Jr. vs. Terence Crawford. In order to earn that fight, Ennis needs to prove himself in a high-profile bout. If he can do that, he will have a much easier time when it comes to securing a title shot.

Villa, who is from the same area of Philadelphia as Ennis, has won most of his fights by knockout. But Ennis’ superior skill set is enough to give him the edge in this one. In addition to his great hand speed, Ennis has excellent timing and a variety of offensive moves. He can punch from both the orthodox and southpaw stances, and is adept at working the body.

In his most recent outing, Ennis defeated Ukrainian underdog Karen Chukhadzhian by a unanimous decision. The win boosted his standing in the welterweight division, and earned him a spot on the card for the Gervonta Davis-Hector Luis Garcia undercard.

But if Ennis believes he is the best in the division, he will have to prove it against Villa, who has scored two knockdowns against undefeated opponents in his career. Despite being an underdog, Villa has a chance to upset Ennis tonight on Showtime.

Before beating Rashidi Ellis in January, Villa was a blip on the boxing radar. But after the win, he became a major player in the welterweight division and has earned a lot of attention for his power. He will be a tough challenge for Ennis on Saturday night in Atlantic City.

Villa is a better fighter

Jaron “Boots” Ennis (30-0, 27 KOs) will defend his interim IBF welterweight title against hard-hitting Romain Villa (26-1, 24 KOs) on Saturday night. The fight will be held at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and will be broadcast on Showtime. While Villa hasn’t faced an elite-level opponent yet, he is a good fighter and will give Ennis a solid test. Ennis is a superior boxer and will likely win the fight.

The last time Villa fought was six months ago, when he beat Rashidi Ellis in a 12 round majority decision. Although Ellis was able to keep Villa off him, it wasn’t a close fight. Villa landed plenty of flush punches and was able to make Ellis feel his presence in the fight. He also showed off his great footwork and stalking style.

Villa is a better fighter than many think and can hold his own against the best in the division. He has a decent chin and is a solid finisher. He’s also a switch-hitter, fighting out of the orthodox and southpaw stances. However, he needs to work on his defense and punching combinations.

While Ennis hasn’t shown the ability to adjust his style against the best opponents in the welterweight division, he has improved with every outing and is now in a much better position than when he first entered the sport. He’s now a legitimate contender and should continue his ascent up the rankings by beating Villa on Saturday. If he can put on a good showing, he should be able to knock out Villa in the eighth round. If Villa can score a big shot in the later rounds, it may be enough to steal a split decision from the judges.

MANCHESTER CITY VS INTER https://gameavenue.co/manchester-city-vs-inter/ Sat, 10 Jun 2023 13:38:16 +0000 https://ww1.gameavenue.co/?p=9182 The pinnacle of club football is the UEFA Champions League final, and the 2023 edition was set to take place in Istanbul, Turkey. However, a turn of events led to a change in the venue, and the final was instead staged at Wembley Stadium in London, England. Fans worldwide rejoiced at the opportunity to attend the final, which saw Manchester United take on Inter Milan in a clash of the titans. With a capacity crowd, the atmosphere was electric, and for the first time since 2011, the two traditional European powerhouses met in the Champions League final.

Despite their rivalry, Manchester United and Inter Milan share a lot of similarities. Both clubs have rich histories, having won numerous domestic titles and having tasted success in Europe. Over the years, they have been involved in some of the most iconic matches in the history of continental football. The teams met each other in the Champions League back in 1999, when Manchester United triumphed over Inter Milan over the course of two thrilling legs.

Fast forward to 2023, and Manchester United and Inter Milan were once again matched up in the Champions League final. As the two teams battled it out, the partisan Wembley crowd was treated to a game of high intensity and quality, with both sides having their fair share of chances.

Manchester United started the game in trademark fashion, with Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes dictating play in midfield. They were the first to create a goal-scoring opportunity when Marcus Rashford ran onto a through ball from Pogba. However, his shot went just wide of the post, leaving the crowd on the edge of their seats.

With 15 minutes gone, Inter Milan found themselves with an opportunity to take the lead. A long ball over the top caught the Manchester United defence napping, and Lautaro Martinez raced through on goal. However, David De Gea stood firm and made a crucial save with his legs, keeping the scores level.

The first half saw both teams probing each other, with neither side wanting to make a mistake that could lead to a goal. At half-time, the score remained 0-0, but the second half promised to be an intense affair.

As the second half kicked off, Inter Milan showed more urgency and began to take the game to Manchester United. They had a great chance to take the lead when Ivan Perisic received the ball on the left-wing, cut inside and let fly with a powerful shot. But De Gea was equal to it and made another important save to keep his side level.

On the hour mark, the game turned on its head when a moment of magic from Pogba gave Manchester United the lead. Picking up the ball in midfield, he drove forward towards the Inter Milan penalty area before unleashing a powerful shot that flew into the top corner of the net. It was a goal worthy of winning any final, and it sent the Manchester United fans into raptures.

Inter Milan tried to respond immediately and threw everything they had at the Manchester United defence. However, it was not to be their night, as De Gea continued to make crucial saves to keep his side in the lead.

With five minutes to go, the game was put out of reach when Rashford scored a second for Manchester United. The goal came courtesy of a brilliant through ball from Fernandes, which Rashford latched onto before calmly slotting the ball past the onrushing Inter Milan goalkeeper.

The final whistle blew, and the Manchester United players celebrated wildly on the pitch as they edged Inter Milan 2-0 in a thrilling final. Paul Pogba, who was later named the man of the match, could not contain his excitement as he lifted the trophy alongside his teammates.

For Manchester United, it was a night to remember as they secured their fourth Champions League title. For Inter Milan, it was a tough loss that they will look to avenge in the years to come. The final was a fitting end to the 2023 Champions League campaign, one that showcased the best of European football and left fans around the world in awe.

Azerbaijan GP 2023 https://gameavenue.co/azerbaijan-gp-2023/ Mon, 01 May 2023 07:49:53 +0000 https://gameavenue.co/?p=7465 Known for its speed and drama, the street circuit in Baku will provide some memorable racing over the course of this weekend. The 6.003 kilometre City Circuit is fast, and with a long main straight, intense strategic battles are sure to ensue.

The race should also bring some more action between Max Verstappen and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc. The former will be looking to add another pole position to his Azerbaijan memories, while the latter will be hoping to get his second victory of the season.

The track

The Azerbaijan GP is one of the most exciting street races on the Formula 1 calendar. Since the track’s debut in 2017, Baku’s twisty streets have produced memorable moments for both drivers and fans. In 2018, Red Bull driver Max Verstappen crashed into Daniel Ricciardo, and in 2021, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc stood next to his car after a punctured rear tire caused him to crash at the castle (turn 8).

As the third longest circuit on the F1 calendar, Baku’s winding street circuit has been an entertaining place for many years. It has also provided some of the most unforgettable moments for both teams.

Mercedes has won both the 2018 and 2019 Azerbaijan GPs, but that doesn’t mean the team will have a clear lead over rivals in 2023. With the lack of a dominant front-runner, the race will be an exciting challenge for all teams.

If you’re looking for a way to watch the Azerbaijan GP, you’ll need a VPN. The best ones are the Austrian channels ServusTV and ORF 1, which will be streaming the race live and free. However, these are becoming more and more difficult to unblock year after year, so be sure to choose a VPN that’s compatible with these channels.

The other option is ExpressVPN, which will allow you to stream the Azerbaijan GP from anywhere in the world. This service offers a variety of servers, including ones in Austria and Germany.

In addition to being able to stream the Azerbaijan GP live, ExpressVPN also protects your privacy when you’re using their VPN to watch other sports and movies. You can also use it to stream videos from a range of countries, such as the US and Canada.

While a good VPN will protect you from hackers, it’s also important to make sure you can access your favorite websites and apps. This can be especially true for those who are traveling abroad and want to enjoy their favorite TV shows and music.

Azerbaijan GP tickets aren’t on sale yet, but there are plenty of options available to suit your budget and needs. Depending on the day of the race, you can purchase one-day or three-day grandstand seats.

The city

Located in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku City Circuit is one of the fastest street tracks on the Formula 1 calendar. It is known for its high-speed corners and twisty turns that challenge drivers, especially those who don’t have a lot of experience on these types of circuits.

This race has been one of the most popular on the calendar in recent years, and fans can look forward to a memorable Azerbaijan GP next month. This is also a great opportunity to see some of the best drivers in F1 racing against each other.

Max Verstappen leads the Drivers’ Championship with a nine-point lead after an incredible start to the season. He will be eager to take a win at the Baku GP after his stunning performance in Monaco two weeks ago.

Red Bull has been a force to be reckoned with in recent races and their driver lineup is firing on all cylinders right now. They have won four of their last five races and will be hoping to keep that streak going at Azerbaijan.

Ferrari has had an up-and-down start to the season, and after a disastrous crash in Barcelona they will be looking for improvement at the Azerbaijan GP. They are a long way off Red Bull but aren’t out of the title race.

Sergio Perez holds third place in the Drivers’ Championship and will be hoping to maintain his momentum with a victory at Azerbaijan. The Mexican has shown impressive form since the middle of 2021 and a strong run at Azerbaijan could shift his reputation from teammate to contender.

Several countries around the world will be streaming the Azerbaijan GP live, but you should know that these streams are often geo-blocked. You can easily bypass these restrictions by using a VPN, which will allow you to access the live stream from anywhere in the world.

You can watch the race live on Sky Sports F1 in the UK and on Kayo Sports in Australia, both of which will have a live stream. However, the streams will be geo-blocked in certain areas, so it’s best to use a UK-based server to bypass these restrictions.

Trackside activities

Whether you’re looking for a way to watch Formula 1 from home or want to experience the action at the track, there are plenty of ways to get involved. From trackside experiences to behind-the-scenes tours, there are a variety of options available for fans attending this year’s race in Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is a great opportunity to watch some incredible racing on a street circuit that offers a number of challenges to drivers. It’s also one of F1’s fastest tracks, so expect some thrilling battles on the road to victory in 2023.

If you’re watching on Sky, you’ll find the action live from Baku on Sky Sports F1 and Main Event in 4K HDR. You’ll also be able to stream the race on your mobile device, as well as through Sky Go at no additional cost.

For those who aren’t a Sky subscriber, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix can be streamed in full on NOW TV. There are also a few other options if you’re a cord-cutter, like Fubo TV and the ESPN family of networks.

In Azerbaijan, you can get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the track and the surrounding area with a variety of F1 Experience packages. These include pit lane walks and even an official FORMULA 1 Paddock Club experience.

The city of Baku has a long tradition of hosting the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, and there have been some incredible races at the city’s circuit over the years. In 2017, Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel faced off in an impossible-to-forget fight, and in 2018, Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo flipped over each other in dramatic fashion.

This weekend, Max Verstappen will take on reigning champion Charles Leclerc at the Azerbaijan GP. Both are aiming to put last week’s Monaco GP out of their minds and win their second race of the season in Azerbaijan.

Defending champion Max Verstappen leads the Drivers Standings with a 9-point lead over Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez. This will be a crucial race for both Red Bull and Ferrari as the teams try to make up ground on their rivals.

Tickets

The Azerbaijan GP is a unique addition to the Formula 1 calendar, and this race will have fans buzzing with excitement. The Baku City Circuit is one of the longest street circuits in F1 and promises to be a thrilling race, complete with hair-raising drama and epic clashes.

This track is also one of the fastest and narrowest in the sport, with drivers needing to be at the top of their game to succeed here. Whether you’re looking to buy F1 tickets for the Azerbaijan GP or want to enjoy the action from the sidelines, there are plenty of options available to suit all budgets.

Ticket prices for the 2023 Azerbaijan GP range from general admission tickets to grandstand seats and everything in between. Alternatively, you can also purchase exclusive F1 Experience packages and FORMULA 1 Paddock Club tickets, giving you access to all the action.

The Baku City Circuit is one of the fastest street circuits in the world, and this race will have fans buzzing. It’s also one of the narrowest and most challenging, so drivers need to be at the top of their game to be successful here.

Red Bull have won four races this season, and they’ll be hoping to make it five in a row on Azerbaijan’s streets. But they’ll need to be especially careful to avoid a similar crash to what happened in Monaco when Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo collided in 2018.

Ferrari have struggled to convert pole positions into wins this season, and the Azerbaijan GP is likely to be a chance for them to rectify their problems. Charles Leclerc is on track for his first pole position in Azerbaijan, while Sergio Perez is a strong contender to secure his second victory of the season.

This is another great opportunity to see a lot of overtaking at one of the most exciting street circuits in the world, but it’s important to remember that this race can be unpredictable. It’s not uncommon for the track to get wet, which can cause a significant delay in the start of the race.

AnEsonGib Vs McBroom 2 https://gameavenue.co/anesongib-vs-mcbroom-2/ Sun, 23 Apr 2023 11:11:43 +0000 https://gameavenue.co/?p=6509 It wasn’t quite as epic as their first clash last September, but AnEsonGib sent Austin McBroom spiralling to the canvas in their Kingpyn Boxing semifinal on Saturday. He snagged a third-round TKO victory.

The battle between the two influencers headlined the Kingpyn Card that aired live on FITE from Banc of California Stadium in L.A. The card included a number of high-profile fighters, including YouTube stars Elle Brooke and Ms. Danielka, rapper Blueface and a pair of knockout artists.

What to expect

The battle between social media stars Austin McBroom and AnEson Gib is set to go down this Saturday evening. The pair are set to face off in a professional boxing match at the Banc of California Stadium, live on FITE pay-per-view.

After a year of negotiations, the two YouTubers are finally lining up for a fight on the same card. The two men shared the bill on Social Gloves back in 2021, but didn’t get to face each other until now.

Fans will be keen to see how these two talented boxers get on, as they both have a large YouTube following. AnEsonGib has over 2.3 million subscribers on his channel, whilst Austin McBroom has 18.9 million, making this fight a big one for both of them.

It’s going to be an exciting match up for fans to watch, and a lot of work will have been put in by both fighters to prepare for this fight. Hopefully, they will be able to deliver a fantastic performance and bring out the best of their skills.

AnEsonGib has won his last five fights and is currently ranked number three on the YouTube fighter ranking system, so he should be well suited to beating McBroom. He will have to keep his concentration and work hard in order to win this fight.

The rematch between the two will take place on September 10, and fans are looking forward to seeing who comes out on top. It’s a special event, and will be taking place in the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles.

There’s also a co-main event featuring former Los Angeles Lakers star Nick “Swaggy P” Young, who will be facing off against influrncer Malcolm Minikon. The fight is scheduled for six rounds, so we expect to see a lot of action from this match up.

It’s a great opportunity to see these two boxers face off, as they are both known for their grit and tenacity in the ring. This fight will be a real test for them to prove that they can do it in a professional setting, and we expect to see them both put their all into the fight.

Predictions

This Saturday night will see a big cross-over boxing event in Los Angeles. It’s headlined by a match between YouTubers Austin McBroom and AnEson Gib, with the co-main being a battle between TikTok stars Bryce Hall and Tayler Holder.

In their first fight, which took place at Social Gloves 2 last September, AnEsonGib dropped Austin McBroom five times. It was a brutal win for the Brit and he’s vowed to take on McBroom once again.

However, there’s a significant amount of beef between these two and it goes back to the Social Gloves event in 2021 when McBroom accused AnEsonGib of being a cheater on his wife. While it’s not clear if this will come to fruition, it’s certainly something that could linger on the internet for a while.

Considering that AnEsonGib was the underdog in his first bout with McBroom, many people are expecting him to win this rematch. It’s also likely that he’ll be in a better position to win the fight than his opponent because McBroom hasn’t been training as hard as he was before his fight against Taylor Holder.

That’s because he was recovering from an injury that he suffered at the end of the previous bout with Taylor Holder and his training has been delayed by a year. That’s why many are predicting that AnEsonGib will win this rematch and become the new Kingpyn champion.

The winner will likely go on to face the reigning Kingpyn champ, Jarvis. The final two winners will be crowned High Stakes Tournament Quarter-Final Champions and will have the chance to face each other in the Main Event.

While both of these men have been working hard in preparation for their upcoming bout, there’s one thing they must remember: it’s still just an exhibition. They have to be careful in order to avoid injury.

If they’re not careful, they might get knocked out before they even get to the ring. That’s why it’s crucial to keep an eye on the action and make the right moves at the right time. It’s also important to remember that both of these YouTubers are very competitive and they’re bound to want to win their upcoming matches.

Final Scorecard

After a great first fight in September, AnEsonGib and Austin McBroom return for a second matchup at the OVO Arena on Saturday. This time, they are both armed with their best punches, and this could be the night that they take it to the next level.

The two men will begin the first round of Kingpyn Boxing at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. GMT on April 22. The main event will feature AnEsonGib versus McBroom, while Whindersson Nunes and Filip Marcinek will also fight in the quarterfinals of the High Stakes tournament.

McBroom starts off the fight with a quick jab that isn’t landing very well, and Gib is backing him up into the corner. He then gets in a few headbutts, which the ref warns against. He then throws a few more punches, but none of them really land clean.

Both men are throwing a lot of punches in this round, and it’s getting quite one-way traffic! They are both going for the body.

This is a pretty close round, with both fighters throwing a fair amount of lefts and right hooks. This could be the night that they take it to another level, and if they can keep this up, they might win a second time!

After some shaky rounds, a big right by Gib knocks McBroom down. It’s not a good feeling for McBroom, but he’s still coming forward despite the fact that it’s slightly shaky!

The referee calls it a technical knockout, and that’s a huge win for Gib. He is able to end his opponent’s night with a victory and cement his place in the history books.

Despite the controversial outcome of the fight, the MMA community is buzzing about the outcome. Several fans have even gone as far as to share “punch stats” on social media, showing a wild contrast between the two men.

While the rematch between AnEsonGib and McBroom didn’t produce as much drama as their first encounter, it was still a great matchup. The two fighters showed grit and tenacity in this fight, and it’s clear that they have more than enough firepower to win. Ultimately, I believe that Ali Eson Gib will be the winner of this matchup, and he will be able to send a message to McBroom to move on from this feud.

Round-By-Round Analysis

The second round of the eson gib vs mcbroom 2 fight is underway, and fans are excited to see the two social media influencers go head-to-head in this exhibition boxing match. In addition to the main event, which is headlined by a rematch between AnEsonGib and Austin McBroom, there are several other matches that have been signed for the undercard, including TikTok stars Adam Saleh vs. Landon McBroom and Reality TV star DeMoor vs. Wharton, and a battle between rapper Blueface and Ed Matthews.

The first round of the eson gib vs McBroom 2 fight was quite exciting. Both fighters landed some hard punches and put together good combinations in the opening round. In fact, a lot of the round was built around body shots. It was also a close fight, with both men putting their hands up, but AnEsonGib managed to come out on top.

In the end, the referee stepped in for 10 count and AnEsonGib was given the win. It is the second time that AnEsonGib has won a bout against McBroom, and this was his first professional victory.

McBroom started the first round with a jab and then quickly threw several hooks to the body. He was able to get the referee’s attention and he was forced to step in for a 10 count.

Hall threw a few punches and was caught with a few upper cuts by McBroom, but it wasn’t enough to knock him out. A few seconds later, Hall threw another barrage of punches and this one was called off by the referee.

During the middle of the round, McBroom threw a few hooks and a few upper cuts to the body. He was able to put pressure on Hall and keep him down for most of the round.

A few moments later, Hall threw a couple of hooks and a few upper cuts to his body, but it wasn’t enough to knock out McBroom. A few more seconds passed, and the referee stepped in for a 10 count.

AnEsonGib and McBroom were a huge draw at the last Kingpyn Boxing event, and they should be even bigger this time around. However, this isn’t the first time that these two have fought each other, and they have a lot of bad blood between them. This goes back to their fight at Social Gloves 2021, where AnEsonGib accused McBroom of committing a “human error” that cost him the bout. Nevertheless, the pair should have an enjoyable evening in London on Saturday.

Gervonta Tank Davis Vs Ryan Garcia 2 2023 https://gameavenue.co/gervonta-tank-davis-vs-ryan-garcia-2-2023/ Sun, 23 Apr 2023 10:59:46 +0000 https://gameavenue.co/?p=6505

Gervonta Davis will meet Ryan Garcia in a non-title fight at 136lbs on Saturday, April 22 in Las Vegas. It will be one of the most highly-anticipated matches in recent boxing history.

Both fighters are unbeaten and boast impressive knockout records. Their fight was finally put together after years of negotiations.

What to expect

Gervonta tank davis vs ryan garcia 2 2023 will settle an epic rivalry between two of the most explosive boxers in the lighter divisions. The undefeated lightweights are slated to fight at a catchweight of 136 pounds on April 22 in Las Vegas.

The match will feature Davis’ incredibly technical skills and brutal knockout power being matched with Garcia’s long reach and blistering hand speed. It’s a massive risk for both men to face a bitter rival while still relatively early in their careers, but it could pay off in raising the profile of each fighter and elevating this fight into one of the most anticipated bouts in recent years.

For Davis, a 28-year-old southpaw, the challenge will be finding an opening against the taller and longer Garcia. His upright chin and loose guard should give him the opening he needs to get inside and take advantage of his power, which he’s shown time and time again.

A powerful puncher, Davis has a devastating career KO rate of nearly 93 percent and is known for his ability to generate a massive amount of power through his core. He’s also an excellent clincher, delivering heavy hooks and uppercuts that can send opponents down like a freight train.

Meanwhile, Garcia is a savvy self-promoter who has used his social media following to elevate himself into mainstream fame. He’s an undefeated fighter with a gaudy 82.6 percent KO rate and has been calling for this matchup with Davis for some time.

He’s never held a top-tier world title, but his blend of speed, reach and punching power has yielded impressive results. He’s also a savvy self-promoter and has partnered with Gatorade, whose star Damian Lillard has been featured in a TV commercial for the brand.

Both men are talented fighters who should be able to dominate their fight and put on an entertaining performance. However, this match will be the most difficult test for Tank that he has ever faced in his career.

As a result, he’ll need to keep his feet moving and constantly change angles in order to get on the inside. He’ll also need to avoid getting caught with a Davis haymaker in the later rounds, which could hurt him.

Predictions

Gervonta Tank Davis and Ryan Garcia are two of the most exciting and promising fighters in boxing. They are both undefeated and have been battling their way up the rankings, and now they get to face each other in an important grudge match on Saturday night.

The match is expected to be a battle of skill and power, with Davis being the more experienced and proven of the two. He’s had several world title fights at both 135 and 140 pounds, while Garcia is still a young prospect with plenty of potential.

One thing to consider is that both fighters are battling to reach the 136-pound catchweight limit for this fight. This is the first time they’ve fought at that weight, and it will be interesting to see how the cut drains both of them.

Despite that, both fighters are still very much in the top five at their respective weight divisions, so it’s unlikely they will be at their heaviest. The fight should be interesting to watch, as both fighters are extremely fast and will likely use their speed to beat the other up early.

I think Garcia has a very good chance of winning this fight. He’s got an impressive record at junior welterweight, and has been a knockout threat as well. He had a tough fight against Luke Campbell in January 2021, but he was able to come back and win by stoppage.

He hasn’t lost since then though, and is looking to add more wins to his already-impressive record. This will be a test for him, however, and he needs to protect himself and keep Davis honest in order to have any chance of pulling off an upset.

As for the fight itself, I think Tank is a very dangerous opponent, as he’s got tremendous power and a knack for disguising what his shots are until very late in the arc. He’s also a very good ring general and doesn’t make many mistakes.

The only thing that could give this fight a bit of a boost is the fact that Davis has been fighting at lightweight for a while, which means he’s used to coping with speedy punchers and isn’t quite as big as he used to be.

Schedule

Gervonta tank davis vs ryan garcia 2 2023 will be a big fight between two of the most popular young boxers in the world. The match is set to take place on April 22 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The main event will be held at a catchweight of 136 pounds, which means Davis’ WBA lightweight title is on the line. The match will be aired on pay-per-view (PPV).

Ryan Garcia is a rising star in the boxing scene with a 23-win, 19-knockout record. He has won many titles in his career, including the WBC interim lightweight championship.

He also has a number of social media followers with over 9 million followers on Instagram.

After his successful win over Luke Campbell, he took a break from the boxing ring for about 15 months. This was to allow him to concentrate on his mental health issues.

UFC 287 – Pereira Vs Adesanya 2 https://gameavenue.co/ufc-287-pereira-vs-adesanya-2/ Sun, 09 Apr 2023 10:35:31 +0000 https://gameavenue.co/?p=4396 The UFC 287 pay-per-view card is headlined by a middleweight title rematch between Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya. The main event is set to take place in Miami, Florida, on Saturday night.

The fighters are coming into this matchup with a long history of rivalry between them. They’ve fought three times with each other in kickboxing and mixed martial arts.

Israel Adesanya vs. Alex Pereira

Israel Adesanya is back in the cage for a UFC 287 title fight this Saturday at Kaseya Center in Miami. After losing his middleweight title in a controversial loss to Alex Pereira at UFC 281 last November, Adesanya is set to take on the Brazilian in their fourth clash.

In their previous three meetings, the Brazilian has been able to knock out Adesanya in each of them. However, he has never been able to win the fight in the Octagon against his long-time rival.

The rematch, which will be the first in a series of four, is expected to feature heavy leg kicks and pressure from both sides of the cage. It will also see both men switch stances frequently, which should make for an interesting matchup.

Round one saw Adesanya take a lot of low kicks from the challenger, but he defended well against them. He threw a few leg punches as well, and they looked to be taking a toll on Pereira in the early rounds.

Pereira started to work on the body in the second round, but Adesanya was able to counter with some leg kicks of his own. He was able to hurt the Brazilian and forced him into the corner.

Adesanya threw a few more leg kicks, but Pereira was able to defend them and keep the fight standing up. Eventually, Adesanya landed a nice left cross, which was followed by another leg kick that buckled the Brazilian’s leg.

Despite the tough start, Pereira didn’t let up and was able to keep the fight going in the second round. He continued to work on the body, but Adesanya was able too connect with some clean 1-2’s.

The third round began with a bit of trouble from both fighters, as Adesanya tried to get the upper hand and land a leg kick, which was blocked by Pereira. He then caught the Brazilian with a big right hand, which was able to stagger him and send him to the mat.

Adesanya was able to work a few more leg kicks in the final round, and he was able to land a couple of flush right hands as well. He was able to send the Brazilian to the mat and finish off the bout at 4:21 of the round.

Preparation

Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya are preparing to fight each other once more at UFC 287 this weekend in Miami, Florida. Both fighters are ready to reclaim their middleweight titles and add another chapter to their rivalry.

This is a fight that should not be underestimated by any means. Both men are very talented and can throw a huge amount of punches. They also know how to use their footwork well to close the distance and make it harder for their opponents to get in range.

However, Pereira is a much more experienced fighter than Adesanya and has been in the UFC longer than his opponent. He is a seven-time veteran of the sport and has won eight of his 11 pro MMA fights.

In fact, he is a perfect 4-0 in the UFC and has won three of his last four fights by knockout. He is also an extremely smart striker and knows how to set up his power shots.

His grappling is not as polished as his striking and he often struggles with the clinch, but he is a very tough fighter. He has a very good chin and is well-trained in kickboxing, where he is 2-0 against Adesanya.

As a result, it is no surprise that he is a formidable contender in the UFC. He was once considered one of the best fighters in the world and has proven to be a true threat on the UFC stage.

Aside from the welterweight co-main event between Jorge Masvidal and Gilbert Burns, there are several other upcoming fights at UFC 287 that are worth keeping an eye on. In addition to the main event between Adesanya and Pereira, the card features Rob Font taking on Adrian Yanez at welterweight, Kevin Holland versus Santiago Ponzinibbio at Bantamweight, and Raul Rosas Jr. battling Christian Rodriguez at Bantamweight.

This fight will be an exciting one and fans are sure to enjoy watching it live from Kaseya Center on Saturday night in Miami. The action will begin at 10PM EST, so make sure you come early and grab a seat along with a 23oz Big House Beer to watch it all go down.

Fight Time

The middleweight division is set for an epic rematch this weekend at UFC 287, as newly crowned champion Alex Pereira takes on fan-favorite Israel Adesanya. The two fighters met at UFC 281 last November and both ended up with impressive wins, although it’s Adesanya who has been the victim of more brutal strikes.

The pair have a long history in both kickboxing and MMA, but this is their first encounter in the Octagon and a chance for one of them to make some serious noise. Both of these guys are known for their devastating striking and they have a very bitter rivalry that spans both sports and continents.

It’s easy to see why Adesanya is adamant that this fight is his last chance to exact revenge on Pereira. He’s been beaten twice in kickboxing and also lost his UFC middleweight title to the Brazilian. But he has vowed to make changes and show some improvements in his game against Pereira this time around.

As a result, Adesanya is a huge favorite to win this fight against the dangerous Brazilian. However, the fight doesn’t feel as if it’s as straightforward as that.

Rather, it feels like a similar battle to Kamaru Usman versus Leon Edwards. Both of these fighters were up on the scorecards comfortably 3-1 going into the fifth round, only for their opponents to shock the world and win by knockout.

That feeling of being caught with a bomb late on is what Adesanya will have to avoid in his rematch with Pereira. He’ll need to keep the strike rate down and focus on keeping his opponent off his back.

If Adesanya can do that, he’ll be able to get the win and regain his UFC middleweight title. He’s vowed to take the time to train hard and work on new strategies to better combat Pereira’s pressure and power.

Adesanya will be able to use his power and his speed to attack Pereira from the inside out and the outside, while he’ll also be able to mix things up with a little grappling if he needs to. That combination of tactics is what makes the battle between these two fighters so fascinating.

Final Words

Israel Adesanya reclaimed his UFC middleweight title by knocking out Alex Pereira in the main event of UFC 287. Adesanya, who had lost three bouts with Pereira across kickboxing and MMA, took the fight to his longtime rival in the second round, where he unleashed a vicious right hand that dropped Pereira and followed up shots put him away for good.

As Adesanya walked off the stage at the Kaseya Center in Miami, the crowd was in awe of his performance. He gave a speech that was widely praised by fans on social media. He also hailed Alex Pereira as a true champion in what was a beautiful display of respect.

In the post-fight press conference, Adesanya thanked Pereira for bringing out the best in him. He said that he wanted to return to Brazil and spend time with Pereira.

Despite their differences, the two men were able to work together well in the octagon. They respected each other’s strengths and weaknesses, and they made each other feel comfortable in the cage.

The first round started with both fighters going back and forth, but neither one landed much. Pereira threw some body kicks and leg kicks, while Adesanya kept it up with his jab and left kicks.

Adesanya lands a couple of body kicks, but Pereira manages to get him off balance with his high kicks. He also threw a leg kick that barely missed the target.

Both fighters landed punches to the head, but the most damage was done by the calf kicks that both threw. The referee stepped in to stop the action.

After a few minutes, Adesanya finally managed to get Pereira down to the mat. He pressed against the cage and took a few hits from Pereira.

It looked like the Brazilian was on his way to winning the fight. He threw some leg kicks, but Adesanya managed to land his own with a big left hand.

With a few minutes remaining, Adesanya was able to land a body kick. He threw a few other body kicks and even tried to back up Pereira with a jab, but he was unable to do so.
